Walker Monthly Update: Month Five / The Theobald's Family Reunion

Walker is growing up so fast. I can't believe it at times. He is getting so big right in front of my eyes. This month he has learned how to roll all over the place. He sometimes surprises me by how much he rolls. At one moment he is in the place where I put him and and the next he is on the other side of the room. It is crazy how fast he grows and learns new things. Walker is now drinking mostly from a bottle since it has gotten too hot to nurse. He is doing very well with it and it is nice for me to have a break. Since he is taking a bottle mostly, we are starting to teach him how to hold the bottle by himself. He is doing very well with it. He can hold it for a couple seconds at a time. He is also able to sit up by himself for a few seconds before falling over.

The big thing that happened this month was that we started Walker on foods. He is just eating veggies and rice cereal. He loves being able to eat foods. Before when we ate dinner or anything for that matter he started to cry. Casey says that he thinks it is because he wants to eat real food. Now that he is eating some foods he has been much better. Another that has gotten better since he has started to eat is his spitting up. Since he was born he has had a problem with spitting up a lot. Since he was spitting up so much it started to irritate  his throat and gave his acid reflex, which wasn't super fun at all. But he is now doing so much better to the point where I don't have to give him medicine and I am not changing my shirt 5 times a day.

Some other fun things that has happened this month was that Walker got to meet his aunt Summer and her family. It was fun being able to see them and have Walker meet his cousins. Sidney and Scott was here for the month so he also got to know them very well. We also went to Disneyland a couple times, which is always so much fun. We love taking Walker to Disneyland. He loves going on the little kid rides and just look around while we are walking around the park.

Walker also got to most of all of his cousin on my side of the family. At my family reunion walker also got to experience his first time at the beach. He seemed to like it. We also went to the Wild Animal Park with my family which was fun to see all of the kids look at the animals and see everything that is there. The cool thing that we got to see that I haven't seen before was the cheetah run. I never have been able to get there in time to see the event. I am glad I got to share that first time with my family. Also at the family reunion we got to see my grandparents. My Grandma is where we got Walker's name. It is her maiden name. I wanted to make sure I got a picture of our family and her because she does mean a lot to our family and I want to be able to show where Walker got his name when he gets older. She is a very special person. It was fun being able to spend time with my family.

He sure is a cutie. I can't get over on how much I love him and how fast he is growing up.
