The Angle Wall..

In our apartment we have an angle wall in the living/dining room as well in the bedroom. If you haven't dealt with an angle walls before sometimes they can be amazing and make the room look so cool and other times they are a pain in the butt. This time for me its a pain in the butt! I have tried everything to make our apartment look bigger then it actually is. I have been trying to figure out the best way to place our furniture to complete this goal of mine. I have tried to space plan it out on paper and sometimes it looks like it is going to work but once Casey and I move everything around it just looks odd. I have done this mostly in our bedroom because it doesn't have as much furniture pieces as our living/dining room. We have place the furniture into an alright place but it is just going to have to do until we move out of this small ghetto apartment (Don't get me wrong, I like our apartment and am very grateful that we have a place to live but I am also looking forward to find a bigger and better place. Even it is it just a little bit bigger and just somethings are better.)

So tonight I decided to move all the furniture in our living room and try and make the room look better. And right now it looks like it is going to end up in the same place where it started because nothing else is working out. Back to the angle wall problem. I feel like they are like columns in homes sometimes. It is just in the wrong stop or it is just not right. For the angle walls in our apartment, they are not the right angle. I wouldn't mind it if one, that apartment was bigger and two, if the angle wall wasn't that angle that it is at. ARG! It is just so annoying. So Casey and I have spent tonight moving our couch around, and TV in different places just to figure out the best solution for our living/dining room.

We decided to take a break for tonight and leave everything where it is right not.. meaning the couch at a weird angle and the entertainment stand (TV) in the middle of the room. We will get back to it tomorrow with clear minds and fresh ideas. Oh I can't wait! I will let you know how it turns out.. if it does.

I would also like to say that Casey has been such a trooper during all of my home improvement adventures. Even though they usually are alright set up in the best solutions he still helps me move everything around and back. I just love him!
