Utah Trip - October 2012

My sister, Jessica, finally moved into her house in Idaho by Bear Lake. So my mom and I went up there to help her move in. I helped her design his kids rooms as well. We also went up to visit.

Utah was my home for 3 years so I kinda felt like I was going back home again. It was fun being back where I was familiar too. It was also Walker's first airplane ride. He did very good and wasn't really fussy (thank you baby Tylenol) but interested in what was going on. It was also Walker's time really meeting my sister's kids. I got really close to my sister kids when we lived by there. When we were first married we also lived with them for a couple months before school started. So we were able to develop a really good relationship with her kids.

Tavis and Krya loved Walker. It was so cute to see how much they wanted to help with him and play with him. He was just learning how crawl so it was fun to see how they helped him out. All of them just wanted to be with Walker and sit by him, eat by him, play with him or have anything to do with him.

Walker and his Cousins

Story: One night Walker was crying wanting to go to bed, but it was a different place and sometimes that just throws him off. So I set him down to just let him clam himself down and Krya came up to me and was like ' Joy, Walker is crying. He is sad.' So I told her she could go over there and pat him on his back. So she did and while she was patting him on the back she was saying 'shh. its ok Walker'. It was the cutest thing ever. She is such a doll.

While we were in Utah we also go to stop by one of my friend, Katie's house to visit a little before we left. It was fun seeing her and her family. And also having them see how much Walker has grown and having them meet him again. She was my best friend while we were at the LDSBC in school. I wish we lived closer because somedays I miss seeing her and spending the day with her while Casey is working. She also has a niece and we decided that Walker and Lily are going to get married. Ha probably not but Lily is a cutie.
