Time with the Parents

This past couple days I have been away from Salt Lake City. In the early morning of monday, I went to northern california to spend some time with my parents and also to go to my friend, Mackenzie Biringer's (Bezzant), Wedding.  I had a great time!

On Monday:
I arrived at the Oakland Airport around 9. Then I meet up with my mom and spend sometime with her. We went shopping and just looked around in Berkley. We then went home and dropped off my stuff then went back out shopping to find my mom a new purse. We found everything but a new purse. I then went to get my hair cut, by Shauna Holt. I totally love my new bangs and a trim! After I got my hair cut, I ran some errands for my mom and with my dad. It was great spending some time with my parents. I missed them so much and I wish I could spend more time with them. We then just hung out around the house and spent some time together!

On Tuesday:
I woke up and went to the oakland temple to see mackenzie get married! I am so glad that I was able to go. I would not want to miss it! It was great seeing her and her family and also some friends I haven't seen since graduation. After the ceremony, my mom and I went shopping at the mall. We found her a super cute purse and also some presents for people I still had to get presents for. We then we back home and got packed for the trip back to salt lake. My parents decided to come up to utah for christmas because none of the family was going to be going to california because we are all going in January when my brother, Alex, gets home.  (sidenote: he gets home on January 19 and will be talking in church on January 23rd at 11AM at the stake center in Livermore.) We got the car all packed and headed over to the reception. It was gorgeous! I loved it! It was great seeing people that I haven't seen since I moved to Livermore or graduation or my wedding reception. Mackenzie looked so happy and so did steve. After the reception we started to head to salt lake. There was suppose to be a big storm coming in so my parents wanted to get ahead of the store and get as far as we could before we got tired. We got to elko and stopped there to sleep for a while.

On Wednesday:
We finished the drive to the Salt Lake Valley! I got to be with Casey again! Casey cleaned our apartment and I was so happy! We went out to lunch with my parents and also our neighbor Justin Furnell. Then we went shopping. If you haven't noticed my mom and I love to go shopping together! My mom got some new shoes and also some gifts she needed to get for some family members while I got some new shoes as well (thanks casey and my mom for letting me get them!) and casey a present that he picked out and really wanted! We spent some more time with each other and then my parents left to go visit my mom's sister. Casey and I just relaxed in our apartment. When my parents got back Justin and Mitzi came over and chatted with us.

It was a great time. I love spending time with my parents. They have done so much for me and I wish I could do something for them to say thank you! I love them so much!

On christmas eve, after Casey gets off work, we will be going to san diego for a couple days and spend some time with Casey's family. We are both excited for that. We love spending time with both of our families!
