Remembrance of Our Wedding Day! 06.12.10

Our wedding day was amazing! Everything turned out to be just how it was we pictured it!

So the night before we had all of our family members that were in town (Sisters, Brothers, Parents, Grandparents, ect.) to the place where they were staying. It was great! The food was amazing and so was being with our new whole family! At the end of the night we gave the nieces and nephews a shovel and a bucket with their name on it. They loved them! Then we showed our lives slideshow. I would put it on here but everytime I try to upload it, it has an error so I don't know how to do it. (so if anyone would like to be so kind and tell me that would be just amazing! Thanks!)

(my amazing video would be placed here.)

THE WEDDING DAY!

So I could not sleep very well the night before because I was so excited that I was going to getting married to my best friend in the whole world in just less than 24 hours. I couldn't wait. Casey felt that same but he slept great!

My amazing hair!
AT THE THEOBALD'S PLACE: I got up about an hour or so before I actually had to. I am actually grateful I did. I spent the morning before everyone woke up talking to my parents. (sidenote: I love my parents soo much!) It was great just spending some time with my parents before the whole wedding day experience happened. It was time for me to get all beautified! Shauna Holt (young women leader) did my hair and it looked amazing! I loved it! It was what I have always wanted my hair to look like when I was getting married! She is amazing at hair, let me just say that. Thanks!! Sidney Schroeder (sister-in-law) did my make-up! It was great! And it stayed on the whole day! That never happens to me! Thanks girl! I then got dressed to go to the temple and made sure everything was in my bag that I needed.

Kissy Kissy!
On Our Way To The Temple!
While I was getting ready, Casey was at his parents house getting all spiffy (i don't know if that is a word but now it is!) It took him about 30 minutes. He then drove to where I was to pick me up to go to the temple before we got married there. We are both soo excited!

We then got married! and BAM!! I am not Joy Nicole Theobald I am Joy Nicole Schroeder with a husband while Casey is still Casey Schroeder but he now has a wife! And his wife is ME! :]

Right when we walked out of the temple!
BAM WE'RE MARRIED!

We walked out of the temple and all of our family and friends were there. Even my brother, Alex, that was no his mission. Okay, he physically wasn't there but my parents got a cutout of him and that was there. But he is there in spirit! We then took pictures with everyone that came. And by the way, the temple was getting a "face-lifted" so there is scaffolding on the temple. But it was still amazing and beautiful. Casey and I wouldn't wish for anything else.! It reminds us how our marriage will always be under construction.
Here are some pictures.
(all these pictures are taken by Kelly Snyder)

We took amazing photos huh?! haha. After we took photos, we has a reception at Rocco's Garden. It was beautiful and super fun! I loved the bright colors! (well duh, that is why we decided on them) But they turned out great! We dance to "Can You Feel the Love Tonight" by Elton John. (sidenote: That was the first song we slowed dance to in the middle of a park, on a hill!)  Here are some pictures of our reception..

sidenote: It was Grandma Schroeder's Anniversary as well so we decided to give her flowers to celebrate with her!
She is sooo sweet! Love her!

It's our wedding we can do whatever we want.. So I wanted to lick the knife.! Deal with it!

sidenote: So the next day we went to Disneyland and when we got back to our hotel those magnets were gone! WHO WOULD WANT TO STEAL JUST MARRIED MAGNETS?!??? really people...!

Thats our story of our wedding. There is much more but way to much to write about! But it was an amazing day and I wouldn't change a thing! We did have another reception up in northern California, we did take some pictures up there (those might come later). Everything turned out wonderful! Thanks for everyone who made it an amazing day! I wouldn't change a thing. I also wouldn't want to be with anyone else! I love Casey Daniel Schroeder!
