Give.

Today at church we had some missionaries come and speak about service in a combined Relief Society & Priesthood meeting. The talks were great. They inspired me to give more not just by doing service about also by just saying something little. Something little can make such a big difference in someone's life. Here are some examples I thought of during this meeting:

-Tell your parents you love them.
- Tell your husband/wife they mean the world to you.
- Compliment friends on their outfits or something they did.
- Smile to the homeless that are standing on the conner asking for help.
- Do something for someone that need help or seems like they are having a bad day.
- Tell your parents that you are grateful for them

That is just some example and I know there is more that you and I can do. At the end of the meeting we say Because I Have Been Given Much. That song just touch my heart. I love that song. Little secret about me: I don't exactly like to sing at church. Sometimes it is because I don't know the song while others is that I am just not in the mood to sing. So instead of singing I listen and read the words that other's are singing. When the ward started to sing this song, I could not help myself to not sing. Casey even looked at me with a surprised look and a smile on his face. I love this song. While singing this song, I realized of the many things that I do have in my life and how lucky I am. I am so grateful for everything that I have been taught and also given. I also thought of all the blessing I have received.

 Here are the words to the song. Read them and think of something that you can do to make someones day go better and of al the blessing you have in your life.

"Because I have been given much, I to must give;
Because of thy great bounty, Lord each day I live
I shall divide my gifts from thee
with every brother that I see
who has the need of help from me.

Because I have been sheltered fed by thy good care;
I cannot see another's lack and I not share
my glowing fire, my loaf of bread,
my roofs stay sheltered over head,
that he too may be comforted.

Because I have been blessed by they great love, dear Lord;
I'll share that love again according to thy word.
I shall give love to those in need
I'll show that love by word and deed:
thus shall my thanks be thanks indeed"
