He is Always There.

I have been looking for a job and still am looking.
This morning I felt discouraged that I would never
be able to find a job that would hire me.

I then prayed to my Heavenly Father
and asked for help to find a job that I would
be able to be apart of.

I then remembered of this poem.

Footprints in the Sand
--Mary Stevenson

One night I dreamed I was walking
along the beach with the Lord.
Many scenes from my life
flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed
 footprints in the sand.
Sometimes there were
 two sets of footprints,
other times there were
one set of foorprints.

This bothered me because I noticed
that during the low period of my life,
when I was suffereing from
anguish, sorrow or defeat,
I could see only one set of
footprints

So I said to the Lord,
"You promised me Lord,
 that if I follow you,
you would walk with me always
But I have noticed that during the
most trying period of my life
there have only been one set of
footprints in the sand
Why, when I needed you the most,
you have not been there for me?"

The Lord replied,
"The times when you have seen
only one set of
footprints in the sand
is when I carried you."

This poem has gave me the strength to go on
and keep on looking for a job.

I know that Heavenly Father will help me in this time of need
if I have faith in him and that he will help.

Heavenly Father is always with you
- to help you
- to comfort you
- to protect you
- to guide you
YOU just need to have faith in him.

I love my Heavenly Father.
I am so grateful for all of the times he carried me
and helped to get the strength to go on.

  1. Hey, you're right =) He is always there! Don't forget it; He will help you accomplish His will if you just trust Him. An anecdote: A while back my brother Kendall lost his job, right around the time they found out that his wife was pregnant with their third child. Of course they were really worried about how they'd handle it. But then they found out that their baby had spina bifida, and they ended up traveling to San Francisco so that they could have major prenatal surgery to help the baby. They were there for several months, and it was a very difficult time for them. Not long after they were back home in Texas with their newborn daughter, Kendall found another job. They realized that the Lord had blessed them, because if Kendall had been working at his other job during that time, he wouldn't have been able to be with Shelly and his family during a very difficult trial with their child's health. Blessing in disguise =) Moral of the story, the Lord knows all things and He will help you if you trust Him! You may or may not get a job, but as long as you are doing your part, Heavenly Father will make things turn out right for you. Good luck with everything!! Love ya!
